This is the manifest's own notes field, reproduced verbatim. It is where a group says which of its fields are a best reading rather than a requirement, and it is written for the people maintaining the schema rather than for this page.

Fields are provisional and may change without a migration path. productCategories is empty on purpose: it previously listed apparel/footwear/home_textile, which no schema version defines — the textile schema has no enum-valued property at all — so nothing could set or validate them. The delegated act that would define a category axis is unadopted.
